Part of Porter-Cable's professional-grade 18-volt cordless tool line, the PC18SS rotary saw generates 26,000 RPM for fast and smooth cutting. This cordless tool is powered by Porter-Cable's line of interchangeable 18-volt lithium-ion and nickel cadmium batteries (not included).
Ideal for making electrical or recessed lighting cutouts in drywall, register cutouts in plywood, countertop cutouts and metal cutting, the PC18SS offers a tool-free depth guide made of durable, high-impact composite plastic. For increased versatility, the rotary saw includes a circle-cutting template for recessed lighting projects and accepts both 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch shank bits. The detachable dust extraction port can be connected to a vacuum hose to reduce airborne particulates.
Bare Tool
This Porter-Cable cordless tool does not come with a battery or charger. It's compatible with Porter-Cable's 18-volt battery system, which includes both lithium-ion and NiCad options.
Warranty
This Porter-Cable tool is backed by three-year limited warranty covering any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship (from the date of purchase). It's also covered by Porter-Cable's one-year free service contract, where Porter-Cable will maintain the tool and replace worn parts caused by normal use--for free.
